Curiosity
Curiosity is the color of a silver dollar
hidden in the sand.
It sounds like the slam of an attic door
which hides the perfect hide-n-seek spots.
It tastes like dog food secreted into a
child's mouth.
Curiosity smells like mothballs in the back of
your grandpa's closet.
It looks like the folded love notes of your
brother's high school days.
And it feels like the inside of an electrical
socket.
