Every once in awhile we need to take some time to sit back and remember the simple things in life, That we far to often take for granted or forget as we live out our lives each and every day. Today one of the simplest joys in life got brought back as I sit and watched my son giggle and laugh, As he sat and looked out the window and watched as the first snow of the year fell.
We stop and think at times how easy a child's life is with parents always there to do everything for them, Yet if we took the time to actually watch and think we would realize the truth of the matter. Children take the time to enjoy life to the fullest while we adults have lost sight of those joys, Letting ourselves stress and worry far too much and forgetting to take time to relax.
What is needed in this world is more people to relax and take the time to enjoy the simple things in life, Letting ourselves regain some of the joys of youth and letting our stress and worry wash away. Take the time out to look out the window and watch those big fat white flakes fall, Losing ourselves in the joy and beauty of it as they drift slowly and gracefully down.
As that first snowfall blankets the ground renewing the ground from the summer stresses, It should remind each of us to take the time and renew our minds, bodies, and spirits. Snow helps to wash away the yearlong damage left upon the earth by the very worries we carry, Leaving the earth refreshed and ready to face another set of stresses and worries with a clear path.
Stress and worry clouds the vision and covers up the path that we should follow, Blinding each of us to so very much in life and robbing us of so much joy. Today I watched my son as he sat at the window and watched the first snow of the year fall down, The smile it brought to my face made me forget the stress and worries that had been bothering me.
