Today her cousin told me
and all I could do was cry,
The shock hit so hard
making me sit and ask why!

Why did her life end like this
when she was still so full of life,
Why did she decide to end it
and cut the strings of life?

Why isn't she here with us
causing us to laugh and to smile,
Why is her light and smile gone
instead of pushing us the extra mile?

Why does my heart feel so heavy
and so very full of grief and tears,
Who do I hurt is intensely inside
with a grief beyond all my years?

Today her cousin told me
that I wouldn't ever hear her voice,
For she has left the world
and all her friends, not giving them a choice!
