Gracefully I watched it move
flying through the air,
Hovering above the flowers
then flitting to the next.
The hummingbird moved with purpose
from stem to leafy stem,
Its small wings fluttering away
faster than I could see.
Pure beauty was in its flight
and clours displayed,
Enrapturing a wather's mind
as it catches their eye.
Lying so still I marveled
about its movements,
Never have I seen such beauty
as in the hummingbird.
