Today I saw a raindrop falling from the sky,
It shimmered in in the sun,
Like the twinkle in your eye,
It landed on a leaf that was falling from a tree,
It floated & moved just like you,
Tho not quite as gracefully,
The leaf got caught in the wind and blew around a while,
It seemed like it went on and on,
Just like your dazzling smile,
Finally it landed, resting next to me,
And when I looked upon it,
You were all that I did see,
So some may curse this fickle rain, and wish it'd go away,
But me, I hope it never leaves
Because it brought you to me today,
