You saw me as the person that i truely was, Not just another face in the crowd of highschool halls. Deeper within my soul you took the chance to look, Instead of judging me on outside appearance like others. You took the time to see what personality was like, Instead of assuming and just passing on by. When i was down it was you who made me laugh, Also when i had joy you shared all of it too. I wasnt just another face you walked on by, Without a glance or even a quick hi. All the memories of what you have done are embedded within They are cherished for a lifetime and never forgotten. When the other kids stopped only to be rude, You stood right beside and protected me all the way through. Over the years i hold your friendship close to heart, It never grew weaker through all the years we been apart. To me your not just another face in the crowd, Your a friend who stood by when no one else would take the chance. You became a comfort in the time of need, A friend for lifetime no matter what trials we see.
