My Path
Tonight I sit and ponder the days past
thinking about all the things I have done,
Questioning myself on each little thing
to see if it was right, or was it wrong.

For months I have traveled this path
always walking alone, with no light,
Lost and confused with each step
that moves beneath my weary feet.

Choice after choice that I have made
is coming under review over and over,
Seeing if I might have done better
and prevented all the pain that I did.

Destruction and pain litter the path behind
while beauty and freshness lie ahead,
My feet marking the line dividing the two
and me hesitant to ruin the beauty I see.

Tonight I sit and ponder the days past
thinking about all the things I have done,
Questioning myself on each little thing
to see if it was right, or was it wrong.

Always remember, you are only human and no choice is worse than not making one at all or having it made for you.

I can feel the pain in your words ... my heart goes out to you.

Apologize and others will forgive. Accept forgiveness and then let it go. Leave your past where it lurks, and soon you will be able to forgive yourself. My two cents, for what its worth.
