Sorry that you have not seen much of an update here lately. I am currently in process of designing up actual full profile pages for the most active authors on the site. Right now I am starting with the oldest or longest term members and those newer ones that have reached a certain number of submissions. These new profiles will be custom designed for each author based upon things that they specifically ask me to add, including links to all their poems and stories as well as to anything else they may want. I will post another update note later today or tomorrow detailing more information and releasing the first profile, my own Lonesome_Heart77 so that people can view it and decide if they like the new profiles or not. These will be linking multiple hosting sites to attain the level of editing I want.
I am currently working on trying to set up an advanced users page for those members who reach a certain time on the site, as well as a certain level of writings. For those individuals who this will apply to, if you have a knowledge of making basic web pages, feel free to set up a profile page and submit it to me. Let me know what program you use to set up the page so that I can add the edits for links and such to it, enabling linking to your personal writings, awards, and such.
I am looking at possible getting a web page designer set up with a few basic templates of profile pages so that people will be able to do this all themselves once the option is enabled for them. I am currently designing my own profile page and will make it available within the next few days. I will show like 5 different general designs that people will be able to choose from on me making their page. If I can get the program set-up to auto design them in

After listening to a very dear friend for awhile I have finally expanded Amatuer Writers to include a section for writers of fanfics. All writers will need to register to post their stories to the site. This is an effort to open the site and make it more appealing to more people by offering a wider range of content.
I am also allowing artists to post up things and here shortly I will add in a file catalog for people who want to make things available to share to other people.
My apologies to all for the lengthy delay since my last update. I have had a lot of things going on in my personal life here lately that has kept me from doing a lot of things. I am back to working and checking up on things on a more daily basis.
At this time all poems and stories that were posted through the original amatuer writers site has been copied and brought over here. From here on out, anything posted into the site here is all new additions with us.
Also at this time, the Publisher section has been renamed as Amatuer Writers to make it easier for people to actually locate it, lol.
At this point in time, all current awards have been posted on the site, you can find them under the forums or the awards sections of the site. From here on out, all awards will be posted upon reaching certain goals, or by doing something above and beyond the normal parameters. So far the various goals are this:
First Publish to Site 20th Publish to Site 1 Year Membership 2 Year Membership 3 year Membership 4 Year Membership Original Author Outstanding Help Publish in Book w/ Wolff Production Publish in Book w/o Wolff Production
Possible Future Awards:
50th Publish to Site 100th Publish to Site Outstanding Donator
The dates that the items are posted on this new site, does nto reflect the initial posting date with Amatuer Writers through our old website. The only dates that are correct at this point is the dates of the new authors. I will do a news entry post once I have completed moving all poems and stories from the old site to this one. Please continue to bear with me as I complete this process.
The dates on the various awards are the dates upon which I have posted them up to the site. They may not truly reflect actual membership dates at this point in time. Those "special" awards that are earned from this point forward will be given the date they are awarded.
Here is a part of the email that I got that refers to the benefits of the company I am planning on using to publish our book through....
"I've also taken the liberty of listing the 7 best features of publishing through AuthorHouse and how they benefit you:
* No rejections---Never receive another rejection slip again. Get published now! We believe that all books should be given a chance to get published and that all authors should be published. So, we accept all manuscripts (with the exceptions of pornography and hate material).
* Personal touch---In this age of technology, we still believe in the "personal touch." During each step of the process (before you submit your manuscript, while it's being published, and when we're promoting it), you'll have a personal contact to guide you through each step and to keep you up-to-date.
* Promotion and marketing---We understand that you're a writer and not a marketer. That's why we have established programs
